Sterling Heights Police Department apprehend suspect after bank robbery

On Friday afternoon, the TCF Bank located at 40770 Dequindre Road in Sterling Heights was robbed at gunpoint.

The white, male suspect jumped the counter and demanded cash from the tellers. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.  The lone suspect was soon apprehended in the vehicle and is now in police custody. All evidence from the incident was recovered.
