Sterling Heights is gearing up for the city's largest family fun festival of the year, the Sterlingfest Art & Music Fair, July 30-Aug. 1, 2009 at the corner of Dodge Park and Utica roads. A juried arts and crafts fair, thrilling family midway, Restaurant Row, and continual music/entertainment fill the bill for this summer's most anticipated event.

Sterlingfest includes continuous entertainment throughout the day, nightly concerts, a refreshment tent, food from local restaurants, a family midway, Kidzfest Tent, and the works of juried artisans.

Featured on this year's main stage are:

Thursday, July 30 - The Square Pegz, performing all the favorites from the '80s.  Prior to the concert will be the traditional balloon launch

Friday, July 31 - The Prolifics, celebrating 50 years of the Motown sound. Kicking off for them will be the smoking horn band, Funkinbluzin

Saturday, Aug. 1 - Fleetwood Dreams will bring back the music of one of classic rock's greatest legend, Fleetwoood Mac. Leading off the concert will be Alyssa Simmons with her unique, soulful style.

All concerts on the main stage begin at 7 p.m.

Additional fair hours are:
Art Fair - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Kidzfest - 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Family Midway - 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Jazz & Blues Court - 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Suds 'n' Sounds - 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.


Parking in city and school lots is free.  Shuttle Bus Service is $1 per way.

Alcohol, pets and bikes are not permitted on the festival grounds.
