The Friends of the Sterling Heights Public Library, organized in 1976, is a volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to enhancing and improving library services for our community. Friends contributions, fundraising activities, and volunteer efforts help:

  • Maintain and improve collections
  • Provide new technologies and capital improvements
  • Support adult and youth programs

Lifetime Friends

Many of our members participate year-to-year, but some have opted to become permanent members of the Friends. To become a lifetime member, go through the normal process of joining the Friends and check the Lifetime Member box on the application.
