The 98,000 square foot Sterling Heights Community Center is a state-of-the-art building that places focus on offering a wide variety of unique programs to meet the evolving needs of our community.

The expanded space has allowed the City of Sterling Heights to launch a number of new programs that residents of all ages can enjoy. The Community Center helps support the City’s 2030 Visioning Plan to create an active, progressive, and inclusive community.

Among other highlights, the Community Center features two multipurpose gymnasiums outfitted for basketball, pickleball, volleyball and futsal, an indoor walking/running track, expanded dance and fitness studios, meeting rooms, the City’s largest indoor special event space, dedicated teen and tot rooms, and the USA Softball of Metro Detroit Hall of Fame. The Community Center is also the central hub for our Parks & Recreation Department.

We are proud of this space and look forward to delivering robust programming and creating unique events for generations to come.
