Overview

The Ordinance Board of Appeals strives to preserve property values through strict enforcement of maintenance standards. The Board reviews cases that have become a nuisance as a result of property owner failing to comply with these standards and may approve immediate abatement by a City contractor at the property owner’s expense.

The Board also considers requests for variances from City ordinances as authorized by City Council.
