You can request an absentee ballot online through the Michigan Voter Information Center at mi.gov/vote.
The last day to apply for and receive an absent voter ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before an election.
A voter can obtain an absent voter ballot in person on the Monday prior to the election until 4:00 p.m., but they must vote the ballot in the office; the voter is not permitted to leave with the ballot.
A voter who registers to vote on Election Day by appearing in person at the Election Center with valid proof of residency is also eligible to obtain an absent voter ballot until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
The Election Center is located in the Senior Center building at 40200 Utica Rd.
Military and Overseas Voters
If you are in the Military or an American Overseas, please visit FVAP.gov for further information and to request an absentee ballot via the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).
You have the option to receive your ballot by email. Scan or take a picture of your completed FPCA and email to firstname.lastname@example.org mail to the City Clerk’s office.
