The Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry works closely with the City and businesses, hosting monthly meetings and sponsoring special events. The City and the Chamber work on several major projects together including The Michigan Week Luncheon and Sterling Edge Awards, Healthy Living Expo and Sterlingfest.
Beginning as a small, localized Chamber in 1961, their Chamber has grown to become Macomb County’s leading business organization with more than 1,300 members.
Their original “designated” service area of “Greater Utica” when they were organized as the “Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce,” has expanded to serve businesses in every Macomb County community, and in 2009 they became known as the “Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry.”
The Chambers mission has been, and continues to be very simple: To bring features, benefits and value to their members and the business community and every day they strive to bring a Return on Investment (ROI) to their members, and to make their Chamber the best business organization possible. Their Directors, Ambassadors, BRAG™ leaders, volunteers at so many levels, along with their staff and management are deeply committed to this Mission.
