Residents who want to safely dispose of expired prescription drugs can do so by depositing them into a disposal box located in the lobby of the Police Department. The disposal box is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is no fee for this service.
“This is a safe, convenient way for residents to dispose of expired prescription drugs as opposed to having them sit around the house or getting rid of them in an unsafe manner,” Captain Colleen Hopper said. “Once deposited, the drugs will be removed and burned in an accepted manner.”
