Ric-Man Construction, Inc.
was founded by Richard Mancini in 1965 and has since constructed large diameter municipal sewer and water projects throughout Michigan. 1981, Ric-Man established a similar operation in Florida. The company has a focus on safety and its employees and specializes in the construction of open cut and tunneling of soft grounds and hard rock soils. With all its years of heavy underground construction experience, Ric-Man Construction has positioned itself as a leader in the industry and a reliable contractor to carry out a project until completion. It is committed to improving infrastructure systems throughout the United States by adhering to its tradition of excellence and innovation. 

Ric-Man’s growth has led them to build a new corporate headquarters in Sterling Heights. This proposed project will construct a new 42,200 square foot facility containing 12,200 square feet of office space and 30,000 square feet of production space. This building will facilitate assemblage of construction products and maintenance of construction equipment at an estimated cost of $3,330,207, or $79.00 per square foot.

Ric-Man was also featured in Mining & Construction Magazine for its Dearborn CSO Contract #8. In “Breaking through the Bedrock”, the magnitude, difficulty, and uniqueness of the job is described. It addresses strategic equipment and techniques that were used handle the bedrock.
