Winters Walk-About

Saturday, February 8, 2020

According to data from the National Weather Service, February is the USA's snowiest month on average. The Moon we see in February is called the Snow Moon. It might be cold and snowy outside but let's enjoy an evening stroll through North Clinton River Park listening to night creatures that may be out including owls before the full moon presents itself tomorrow. On our journey, we will learn some interesting facts about the moon and winter night creatures. So lace up your boots, dress for the weather and come on a walk-about with us. *We may be walking a distance up to one mile on an un-groomed path and walking may be difficult in deeper snow.
