Let us head South as we explore the South Pole and the unique birds that call the frigid area their home, the Penguins. Do Penguins really live in the South Pole? Are Penguins land dwellers or coastal animals? Can you see any penguins at the North Pole? Answering these questions will be the job of the Education Specialist from the Detroit Zoological Society. We will get an up-close look at a day in the life of the Zoo’s penguins, and how they take care of these awesome flightless birds! This LIVE Zoom event will “take the icing” and be perfect for concluding our, “Pole to Pole” series. This family event is something you don’t wait to miss out on. Register early, we are only taking a limited amount of patrons / families on this journey with a planned Q & A session at the end of the presentation.
