Update from the Sterling Heights Police Department: Last night, a 47-year-old woman was struck and killed at 14 Mile and Ryan Roads while pushing her teenage son in a wheelchair. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

The 15-year-old son was not seriously injured.
