Sterling Heights Public Library Events and Activities
Given the remaining COVID-19 threat and the library’s ongoing building renovations, the library has prepared a flexible schedule of events for September through December. While the library hoped to provide in-person programming through Parks and Recreation facilities this fall, alternate plans were created in case indoor programming proved unworkable. Presentations, performances and discussions will be hosted outside if at all possible. If an outside venue is not feasible, the program will move to a virtual format. Similarly, the library’s craft program will either be hosted outside or converted into ready-to-go craft kits full of supplies and instructions that can be acquired through the library’s curbside pickup service. For a schedule of library events, visit www.shpl.net/610.
The City continues to monitor conditions and may further modify or cancel additional events or activities. Please contact the Community Relations Department at cityhall@sterling-heights.net for updates.
