[ARCHIVED] Winter Reading Challenge

Read for a Better World

The Sterling Heights Public Library will participate in Beanstack’s Fifth Annual Winter Reading Challenge, “Read for a Better World,” sponsored by Lerner Publishing Group. From January 1 to January 31, we challenge you to read 600 minutes and keep track of it. The theme will focus on diversity and empathy through reading, and Lerner Publishing will provide a selection of books that further explore this theme. Through the Beanstack platform, Sterling Heights will join thousands of other libraries and schools across the nation to collectively read for a better world.

All ages can participate. Click here for more details and to get started. Those who complete all 600 minutes will get a prize, either a tote bag or water bottle, as well as the satisfaction that they started 2022 off right!
