UPDATE ON WEDNESDAY, FEB. 2 AT 6 P.M.
Due to continuing weather conditions, the Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation offices, as well as the Community Center, Senior Center, and park restrooms, will delay opening on Thursday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. The Nature Center will open at 1 p.m. as normally scheduled.
All Parks and Recreation scheduled programs and transportation are cancelled for Feb. 3. Drop-in activities will be available at 10 a.m.
The Dodge Park Ice Rink will open at noon as normally scheduled. Residents can call the Ice Rink Hotline at (586) 446-2711 at any time for rink status.
Park snow removal will begin as soon as snowfall ends, either Thursday or Friday, with major parks and sledding facilities first.

Due to the predicted weather forecast, Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation offices, as well as the Community Center, Senior Center, and park restrooms, will close on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. The Nature Center will remain closed all day.
Drop-in activities at Community Center and Senior Center will be open until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
All scheduled programs will be cancelled for Wednesday, Feb. 2 and Thursday, Feb. 3, including transportation and youth basketball. We ask that you call our Program Hotline at (586) 446-2693 for the latest updates.

Park snow removal is expected to begin Friday, with major parks and sledding facilities first. Remember, parking on streets for parks or sledding hills is not permitted during a City issued snow emergency.
