[ARCHIVED] City Seeks Artwork for Public Display

The Sterling Heights Arts Commission is seeking applicants for the City’s Featured Artist program.

The Featured Artist program showcases the creative works of some of Metro Detroit’s finest artists.
Artists selected will have their works displayed for a two-month period in a large, locked showcase located on the second level of the Sterling Heights Community Center at 40250 Dodge Park Road. The showcase has adjustable glass shelves and measures 6’H x 9’W.

In addition, selected artists may be featured in a video profile on the City’s cable television station SHTV, in social media outlets, and through interviews with local media arranged by City staff.
Applications are available in the Community Relations Department, located on the lower level of City Hall at 40555 Utica Road or by visiting the City’s Web site at and searching "featured artist."
