It's really true this time. If you have trouble logging in to your library account, this is due to the transition to Polaris, our new integrated library system. One of the changes is that it has reset PINs to the last four digits of the library card number. Thus, when you log in to place an item on hold, access Libby for an ebook, or one of the other services that require a PIN, your old PIN will not work.
Alternatively, you can reset your PIN.
- Start on the Vega page.
- Click on “Log In” in the upper right. A small window opens.
- At the bottom of the window, click on the “I forgot my PIN” link.
- You will be redirected to a PIN reset prompt. Enter the library card number.
- A PIN reset link will be sent to the email address on the account.
