[ARCHIVED] City seeks artwork for public display

The Sterling Heights Cultural Commission is seeking applicants for the city’s Featured Artist program.

Artists selected will have their works displayed on the lower level of City Hall and in the Friends of the Library bookstore for two months. In addition, the artist will also be featured on the city’s cable television station SHTV, social media outlets, and the city will arrange for a press conference with local media.

Applications are available in the Community Relations Department, located on the lower level of City Hall, 40555 Utica Road, or by visiting the city’s Web site at www.sterling-heights.net and searching "featured artist."
