  3. "LIFE" on Minimum Wage

    Can you survive on minimum wage? This hands-on simulation combines aspects of the board game "LIFE" with a practical economics lesson. Each teen will be assigned a minimum wage job and will work towards achieving their Life Goals while dealing with paying bills and all of the "surprises" that life can throw your way! The teen that reaches their goals first will win a prize!

    Children and pets have a special bond because animals do not judge or interrupt a reader. Practice your reading individually with a trained therapy dog and her trainer in the library’s storytime room!

    Can’t quite figure out that gadget you just got? Head to the library for a visit with the Gadget Guy, Chris Frezza! This program will allow participants to bring their questions to Frezza for one-on-one help. There will be a 15-minute time limit and questions will be answered on a first-come, first-served basis.
