    Libraries Rock! Express your love of libraries with a freestyle dance program featuring oldies and current hits. We’ll also have a craft and other activities based on some of the songs and pop culture. This program is designed for ages 2-11, but caregivers can show off their best moves too! Craft supplies will be limited to the first 100.

    Want to find a fun way to earn volunteer service hours? Look no further than the library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! Members of the TAB plan and run their OWN programs under the supervision of our Teen Librarian. The TAB will get a budget and plan out the After Hours Teen Party on Aug. 24.

    No registration necessary, but go to the Youth desk before you begin Children and pets have a special bond because animals do not judge or interrupt a reader. The first 10 children to check in at the Youth desk can read to certified therapy dogs and develop their skills in our storytime room.

  5. Creative Writers Workshop

    Share your written work with other authors and participate in meetings filled with constructive, friendly critiques. All skill levels and genres are welcome. Participants are limited to 1,200 words of prose or 2 pages of poetry. We suggest bringing 12 to 15 copies of your work for critique.
