    Are you a teen who loves to write or draw? Join us for our new Teen Artists Club! Bring your poems, short stories, graphic novels, FanFiction, or illustrations to share! Not ready to share? You can sit in and use the time to work on your art. At the end of this session, you can select your favorite piece to be bound and put into circulation at the library! Snacks will be provided.

  3. Creative Writers Workshop

    August 27, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Library

    Share your written work with other authors and participate in meetings filled with constructive, friendly critiques. All skill levels and genres are welcome. Participants are limited to 1,200 words of prose or 2 pages of poetry. We suggest bringing 12 to 15 copies of your work for critique. Water, coffee, and tea are provided for all participants.

  1. New Tomorrows Grief Support Group For Ages 50+

    This grief support group is an 8-week experience that will give you insight on both how to handle grief as well as a community of other group members who also have recently encountered loss. This group will offer you a safe and trustworthy place to sort through the emotions you are experiencing as a result of your loss while discovering new hope for tomorrow. Group Leader: Jesse Stirnemann, McLaren Hospice of Sterling Heights Bereavement Coordinator.
