    No registration necessary, but go to the Youth Reference desk before you begin Children and pets have a special bond because animals do not judge or interrupt a reader. The first 10 children to check in at the Youth desk can read to certified therapy dogs and develop their reading skills.

  4. Give 'Em Pumpkin To Talk About

    Need a new art piece to display? Perhaps your mantel needs a sprucing up? Come and enjoy a program that beginner painters can feel confident about and experts can add a little artistic flare. Participants will take wooden blocks and paint unique fall pieces. These can also duplicate as Halloween pieces with pumpkin faces. A little light sanding may be required. Ages 17 and up. All materials provided.

    This grief support group is an 8-week experience that will give you insight on both how to handle grief as well as a community of other group members who also have recently encountered loss. This group will offer you a safe and trustworthy place to sort through the emotions you are experiencing as a result of your loss while discovering new hope for tomorrow.
